As you’ve all probably gathered by now—I travel A LOT. It’s honestly insane how much I travel, but I wouldn’t be able to do it day-after-day and week-after-week without my tried and true routine and suitcase of essential items I wouldn’t be caught without!
Below are a few of my longtime favorites and new obsessions. What are some of your travel essentials? One thing this list is missing is a great travel carrier for all my vitamins–does anyone have a pill case that they really love? Please share all your favorite products my way!
TempurPedic Neck Pillow & Blissy Pillowcase
Hotel pillows just don't support my neck and my head enough for me to sleep, so I always keep a TempurPedic neck pillow with me. They’re great for travel because you can roll it up when you’re not using it and stick it in your suitcase. I also travel with a silk Blissy pillowcase that I love to use over my TempurPedic; it’s so great for your face and hair and also helps me to look fresh
Hand Sanitizer & Wipes
I just left one of my favorite travel packs that was filled with wipes, hand sanitizer, and phone charger on my last flight. I’m so frustrated, but it really reminded me how essential these items are for me when I travel. Whether you’re in a plane, Uber, or in a hotel, I’m always touching everything and wiping everything down. I truly can’t go anywhere without these and will be replacing this bag ASAP.
Zitstickas:
I also love to always have a bunch of zitstickas on hand. These are a lifesaver if you're on the road and suddenly get a pimple on your face. You can wear them all night long or even under your mask and and it really does help like your zits in terms of like kind of calming them down. I will be on the road and notice that a zit is getting bigger and bigger and just pop one on. They’re really really good.
Lotion:
As someone who lives in a hotel, I have to admit that most of the time the lotions in hotels aren't very moisturizing. So I'm obsessed with packing like a small travel bottle of rich moisturizing Nivea lotion. Especially now that it’s getting colder and I’m around so many different climates, it’s just great to put on your body in the morning.
Athletic Greens:
My husband and I are currently obsessed with Athletic Greens. Troy Aikman actually got us hooked on them. I take a lot of vitamins, but it can sometimes just be so hard to get a green juice in you when you’re on the road. This replaces that hassle and now I now bring these travel packs with me everywhere. All you do is throw the pack into a 12 oz bottle of water and there you go! I’ve been trying to have it every morning because it’s a great way to get all your vitamins and greens in.
Vital Collagen Packs:
I also love throwing a Vital Collagen pack in my coffee in the morning. With my long hour days and the amount of travel I do, I need all the help I can get to look fresh and ready-to-go each day.
Face Masks
I've been trying to be really good about doing a face mask the day of the game—it’s just a great way to get moisture fast. A girlfriend of mine introduced me to 111 Skin and I’m obsessed. I now try to do either their eye patches or a face mask right before I do my makeup to go to the game. Extra tip—I love to throw them in the mini bar of the hotel just to cool it off. It feels so refreshing and helps wake up my face to look like I've actually slept.
For Home: Epsom Salt Bath
I’m always trying to remind myself to relax and take care of my body because I know I'm getting older. So, I always try to do an epsom salt bath once or twice a week when I’m home. I love to just soak my body and get all the toxins out of me. This is so much harder to do on the road, but I will grab my epsom salts the first chance that I get.
