5 TV Shows I Can’t Stop Watching

Hey everyone!

I hope you’ve had a nice and relaxing week so far. This week I’ve been so thankful to just unplug and finally get caught up on all of my shows. Sometimes all you need to unwind is a glass of wine and a show to binge-watch. There is nothing better than that!

Here are some of my favorite shows I’m currently watching:

Succession

I’m finally getting caught up on the latest season of Succession (please no spoilers!) and love it so much. Every character on this show is just so well developed and is so believable—it’s insane. Cousin Greg is one of my favorites. He can be so annoying, but the more I watch and listen, the more impressed I am with Nicholas Braun. He’s just such an unreal actor. Honestly, everyone on the show is just doing such a tremendous job—I’m hooked!

Ozark

Ozark is SO stressful. There’s just always something happening and I love that you never know where the show is going to go next. The storyline is one of my favorite parts and I always feel like I’m on the edge of my seat because I’m worried that someone is going to get killed. Jason Bateman’s character is also just SO hilarious. I’m so sad that this is the last season, but I’m excited to see what happens in part 2 of the finale season next month!

Yellowstone

I’ve talked about Yellowstone a few times before, it’s one of my favorites! If you watch, you know that it’s another extremely stressful show. This is one of the reasons why I can’t watch it during the football season, it’s not something to chill out and watch. This season I was really stressed out because I thought Rip and Casey were going to die, but thankfully they didn’t!

It’s also a show where my husband always asks like 18,000 questions during an entire episode—I never know the answers! I always just tell him to pay attention and just watch, but it’s kind of funny.

I really need to start watching 1883 now that I’m all caught up with Yellowstone. However, as much as I love this series, it is just so stressful and high anxiety, so I might watch something else first.

Real Housewives of New Jersey

I will never get tired of watching RHONJ, it is one of my favorites! Dolores is just so funny and always makes me laugh. I’m also obsessed with the drama Melissa and Teresa have all of the time. I feel like this particular season of Real Housewives is bringing it back to the craziness of the original series, so I love it a lot. I just can’t stop watching it.

Friends

Friends is my ultimate comfort show. I can always watch the one where Ross and Rachel are on a break and the one where Rachel breaks up Emily and Ross over and over again. I probably know them all by heart at this point! I’ve always loved the show, but since the reunion came out, I’ve found an entirely new love and appreciation for the show. It’s something I will always throw on in my hotel room and watch as a break before bed. It’s my comfort food.

After I’m caught up with most of these, I’m really looking forward to starting 1883 or Yellowjackets.

What new shows have you been watching? Do you have any comfort shows you always go back to?

Until next time,

Erin

I have a few go-to shows. Currently I'm rewatching LOST for the sixth or seventh time. Chuck, Alias, Covert Affairs, Burn Notice (CIA themed shows) are all good to rewatch, as are both versions of Nikita. Amazon Prime and Paramount Plus are excellent s…

I cannot recommend enough: 'Impeachment: American Crime Story' about the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal! Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp is incredible. I wasn't quite old enough to understand everything going on during this period of time. Excellent TV!

We just finished 1883 with Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, a must watch. A comfort show that I like to Sweet Magnolias on Netflix.

Castle, Big Bang Theory, old N.C.I.S. with Ziva, Friends and Better Things are my tried and trusted. Methinks You need a little less drama mixed in 🙂! Although Yellowjackets in smaller doses has real possibilities.

Yellowjackets is very interesting. It would be pretty overwhelming to binge...just be warned. Also, Erin...I would assume you have seen all of the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul episodes? If not, start THERE. The last season of Better Call Saul is s…

Surprisingly, I have enjoyed Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon. Set in 1960, it’s very funny.
